What is Giclée?

At Grace’s Giclée we produce art prints using the giclée printing process. Giclée printing is an increasingly popular print process for artists and illustrators who want to achieve a consistently high and accurate reproduction quality for their original or digitally produced artwork. Giclée printing uses colourfast inks that are finely sprayed onto archival quality paper.

Our giclée art prints are precise, long-lasting and are printed on the latest Epson SureColor machines. Our printer ink contains UltraChrome XD ink which ensures vivid images and are also scratch and water resistant.

Fade resistant and rich in colour, giclée printing ensures your artworks look professional and accurate, leaving you to keep hold of the original! We use 230gsm, archival-quality matt paper, which is the perfect match for the giclée print method and creates quality, art prints of your work at an affordable price.

File Specifications:

We accept JPEG, PDF, PNG & TIFF file types. Images must be at least 300 dpi (dots per inch) in order to print clearly. We require high resolution files as this affects the clarity of the image, which is important when printing large scale prints. For colour space, please convert CMYK files to RGB colour space and ensure your files have an embedded profile such as sRGB.
